Tegan Kline, the co-founder of Edge & Node, recently expressed that there are still numerous opportunities within the blockchain space. In an interview with Cointelegraph, Kline discussed the current state of the market and offered advice to community members on how to navigate through the crypto winter. According to Kline, it is crucial for the community to remain true to its core values and persevere in delivering practical solutions.
Kline emphasized that the crypto winter presents a unique opportunity for builders. With less market noise during a bear market, it becomes what Kline calls a “builder’s paradise.” Furthermore, Kline highlighted the need for additional developments in the blockchain space, such as layer 2 solutions, multichain aggregation, bridge technology, custody solutions, and decentralized autonomous organizations.
Additionally, Kline discussed the potential impact of blockchain on social media. She believes that the emergence of Web3 social networks will be a game-changer. Moreover, Kline predicts that decentralized exchanges will eventually surpass centralized exchanges in terms of trading volume.
When asked about the mindset community members should adopt during the crypto winter, Kline pointed out that some of the most successful companies and technologies were born out of recessions. She urged the community to continue building and emphasized the importance of resilience.
Finally, Kline mentioned that the blockchain ecosystem can expect the rise of more robust decentralized technologies as a result of the crypto winter. She also advised focusing on self-custody, decentralization, and understanding counterparty risk.
