Aethir, a provider of decentralized cloud infrastructure, has joined forces with MetaGravity, the developers of HyperScale Engine, to speed up the development of decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN).
This partnership is focused on enhancing the 3D internet and gaming industry through DePIN technology, creating a scalable infrastructure that streamlines gaming development and makes it more efficient and accessible.
In a Q&A interview with Cointelegraph, Dan Wang, co-founder and CEO of Aethir, stressed the partnership’s objective, saying:

Implications of the partnership on online gaming
The partnership aims to overcome the traditional limitations of online gaming by integrating MetaGravity’s HyperScale Engine and Aethir’s Instaplay pixel streaming solution.
This collaboration will enable game developers to scale back-end simulation infrastructure and front-end “cross-device pixel streaming capability” simultaneously.
Tobin Ireland, MetaGravity’s co-founder and chief business officer, discussed causal partitioning in the Q&A:
Ireland explained that MetaGravity uses mathematical formulations to accurately measure gameplay interactions, creating infrastructure that “can deliver 100x scale of spatial partitioning at 1/100th of the cost of compute.”
