GGEM, a gaming platform that combines Web2 and Web3, has launched its early version. Despite the largely untapped potential of blockchain technology in gaming, more than half of adults are unaware of GameFi. Inadequate game economies and the absence of scalable and low-cost blockchains and game studios are hindering the development of advanced Web3 games. Success in blockchain games relies on building a strong community for user base, development, and marketing in a Web3 style.
GGEM, a gaming platform, is now live with its MVP and aims to help Web3 games launch and attract Web2 players. It provides tools and services for game projects to reach an established audience and utilize advanced features.
After years of development, GGEM went live in March with a core build. The platform already offers dozens of RPG, strategy, MMORPG, and free-to-play games that appeal to both crypto-native and non-crypto users and can be played without installation.
Interacting with GGEM is seamless, even for those unfamiliar with blockchain. Users can play games without selecting networks or connecting a Web3 wallet. The user-friendly design allows all actions to be executed in one place, with progress synchronized across games and automatic background updates. In-game assets are stored in personal GGEM wallets as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that can be bought and traded externally.
Additionally, GGEM employs a challenge-to-earn system, allowing users to earn tokens and NFTs by participating in challenges, tournaments, and events. The platform also offers educational resources and consultancy services for developers and players.
GGEM has closed its pre-seed funding round and is developing a software development kit for game developers. Partnerships with prominent gaming companies, such as Brinc, Age of Mars, Rage Effect, and AlterVerse, have been established. The platform is also planning to introduce an in-game store and launch the GGEM token to further enhance the gaming experience.
GGEM aims to bridge Web2 and Web3 by providing innovative tools, lowering costs, and creating a stable future for GameFi.
