Chainlink and Gnosis have officially launched the CCIP interoperability protocol and Automation services on the Gnosis network, as announced on June 12.
Gnosis users can now take advantage of Chainlink for cloud computing capabilities, allowing them to offload intensive computing tasks to the Chainlink network while significantly reducing gas fees by up to 90%. The innovative CCIP protocol from Chainlink enables Gnosis users to seamlessly send messages, interact, and exchange value across different blockchains.
Philippe Schommers, head of infrastructure at Gnosis, expressed his excitement about integrating Chainlink’s CCIP protocol and Automation services into Gnosis. He highlighted that Chainlink’s CCIP protocol is quickly becoming the preferred choice for cross-chain communication and interoperability in the industry. Notably, various blockchain companies, institutions like the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, and even the SWIFT messaging system have recognized the transformative power of Chainlink in revolutionizing the current financial system.
In a recent development, Chainlink partnered with Rapid Addition to create a blockchain adaptor for institutions looking to engage with tokenized assets, particularly in the renewable energy sector and carbon markets. Through this collaboration, the goal is to utilize Chainlink’s CCIP protocol and real-world price feeds to offer banks a standard method of interacting with tokenized assets across multiple blockchains.
Additionally, Chainlink sealed a deal with Arta Techfin, an asset management firm based in Hong Kong, to tokenize illiquid real estate and collectibles. Furthermore, in late May, the Ethereum layer-2 network Celo announced its integration with Chainlink to introduce cross-chain messaging and interoperability to its network users.
The highly publicized pilot program involving Chainlink, the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, and major banking institutions like JP Morgan, BNY Mellon, U.S. Bank, and Edward Jones has solidified Chainlink’s position as a leader in the industry for interoperability and real-world asset tokenization.
In other news, NFT Creator Nate Alex shared his regrets about selling 70 CryptoPunks too early, describing the experience as “painful to think about.”
