Moving on, we have the announcement of a metaverse created by South Korean telecom company LG Uplus in collaboration with Yonsei University. This metaverse, known as “Meta Yonsei,” offers a virtual replica of the university’s Sinchon campus, allowing students to explore familiar landmarks and connect with each other.
In the realm of investments, blockchain gaming has seen a significant surge with nearly $1 billion poured into the sector in April alone. This impressive figure, as reported by DappRadar and the Blockchain Gaming Alliance, marks the highest level of investment in blockchain gaming since January 2021. Additionally, the NFT metaverse project Mocaverse has demonstrated its potential with an impressive trading volume of $8.4 million.
However, not all NFT news is positive. Fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana and Web3 platform UNXD are facing a class-action lawsuit due to alleged delays in the delivery of NFT products. A dissatisfied customer claims that the value of their purchased assets plummeted by 97% as a result of these delays.

Findeisen reveals that Rabbit raised funds for an NFT project but failed to deliver on its promises. Furthermore, he highlights the striking similarities between Rabbit’s new AI product, Rabbit R1, and the failed NFT project, suggesting a pattern of overhyped ventures.
